The Little Christmas Shoppe at St. Anthony’s school on the southside of Milwaukee is open this year! Many of you have participated in the past with wonderful gifts the children, K4 – 2nd grade, can select for their parents. If you would like to help out this year, I will be delivering the items for sorting. Also, if you would like to volunteer in any of the areas needed, please let me know. Look for a sign on the Narthex bulletin board for details and a red bin for your donations. Thank you!

Here is an excerpt from the organizers’ note: “The joy that the children share with us makes the holiday season special and lifts our spirit.  Every year Linda and I come away with a very special story from a few of the children that makes us appreciate what all of us are doing.  It takes many generous people from our gift donors, donation sorters, cookie bakers, transport helpers, set up people, gift wrappers, snack helpers and tear down crew to make this shop come to life for the children.  On the week of the shop, we have happy and proud students who are able to give their parents a gift.”
