On Sunday, November 13, the Confirmands and Mentors joined with our own Nancy Wandersee to learn about the work of HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society). We met at their education and training facility in Pewaukee. Nancy gave us a wonderful tour and shared the important work that HAWS does. We also got to greet some animals! Then we got to work. We made PVC fencing for the arena. It was a great day!
A personal Thank you from HAWS via facebook: “HAWS would like to extend a huge thank you to Brookfield Congregational Church! They volunteered at our Schallock Center to help build brand new fencing for our agility arena. Thank you for all of your help!”
