About BCC

Brookfield Congregational Church (BCC) is a part of the United Church of Christ (UCC), an inclusive and diverse community of Christians connected by faith that calls us to build a just world for all. Our community is open and affirming. You are welcome just as you are, wherever you are on your faith journey.

To bear fruit, BCC looks to the word of God in the Scriptures and to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Through its inner life and its outward ministries to the community and the world, BCC’s mission is to:

  • Worship God

  • Help people on their spiritual journeys

  • Emphasize God’s call for us to live abundantly, love extravagantly, and give generously of our own unique gifts

BCC's purpose is to permit freedom to the individual in the interpretation of the Scriptures and in the formulation of personal beliefs. Its primary emphasis is on a sincere effort to have its members live in the spirit of Christ.
