This Sunday, we are excited to welcome to the pulpit the Rev. Carolyn Blair. Carolyn is serving as sabbatical pastor at First Congregational UCC in Waukesha for the summer. Carolyn is a pastor in the New York Metro Association of the UCC, as well as Executive Director at Blair Wilson & Associates and founding member of The Ubuntu Project for Inclusive Worship. She is a former employee of the Baltimore City Public Schools, as well as musical theatre graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia HS of Music and Art and the Performing Arts and studied at Long Island University. Rev. Carolyn will be reflecting on the song “Maybe God’s Try’n to Tell You Somethin'” from ‘The Color Purple’, as well as singing “Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning”. While Rev. Carolyn offers the message here at BCC, Rev. Laura will be preaching at First Congregational UCC in Waukesha. We are excited for this pulpit swap opportunity.
