Season of the Spirit: Earth has Hope

This season there will be lots of opportunities to create space for Christmas.  This year’s Advent season theme is “Earth Has Hope” (title of the image above).

The prophet Isaiah leads us into the Season of Advent, offering visions of a world of peace and harmony, and a child leading the way forward. We will sing a song of joy and justice with Mary, hear the promise of a child from Joseph’s point of view, and take courage from Joseph’s example of faithful living in troubled times.

Each Sunday as you enter worship you will be invited to participate in creating the Advent Wreath.  Wreaths for at-home members and those worshiping with us virtually are available as well.

Aside from Worship on Sunday morning there are many opportunities to engage this Advent Season.
