The pandemic has turned us all upside down. Did you know our “hearts to hands’ group has been around since 2010! In the past two years we have lost faithful members to this group, but we remain steadfast.
Small groups are now meeting and it’s time to ‘resurrect’ the ministry. We have continued to share shawls and blankets for baptisms, weddings, or those needing a bit of comfort. We traditionally have met on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, at 9 am. We have a small stash of blankets and shawls
that have found their way into the bins, but could use more. I also have headbands
that need buttons sewed on for our healthcare workers. Yes, there is a need.
Based on your interest, please let me know if you can help in any way. There is a place for working home on these projects. Look for more information in the near future about gathering in person for ‘Hearts to Hands.”
With heartfelt gratitude, Marilyn
