Offering to be collected on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
The special offering for the Christmas Fund will be received on Christmas Eve, December 24, as well as Christmas Day. Those resources go to support active and retired clergy and lay employees of the UCC for over 100 years, providing emergency grants, supplementation of small annuities and health premiums as well as Christmas “thank you” gift checks each December to lower income retirees. Special envelopes will be in the lobby near the offering baskets or you can indicate “Christmas Fund” in the memo on your checks, as well as donate online.
The Christmas Fund has been caring for active and retired clergy and lay employees of the United Church of Christ for over 100 years, providing emergency grants, supplementation of small annuities and health premiums, and Christmas “Thank You” gift checks each December to our lower-income retirees.
