Despensa De La Paz Food Pantry
For the second quarter loose change offering, the mission team has chosen ‘Despensa De La Paz.’ We will collect on the first Sunday of the months of April, May, and June.
Despensa De La Paz is one of four locations of the Friedens network of food pantries in Milwaukee. Residents who live within the local zip codes may walk in or register online. Annually, Friedens distributes over one million pounds of food to neighbors in need, of which, 1/3 to 1/2 is recovered or cleaned. Friedens’ pantries aim to end hunger and create a safe environment for all.
