This year’s Contemplative Christmas opportunity will dovetail with the Meditation gathering on Wednesday, December 19 at 7pm. The sanctuary will be aglow with soft light and images for contemplation. This quiet service (sometimes called “Blue Christmas”) is for those looking for a pause amid the rush of the season. There is particularly sensitivity to those for whom the holidays are difficult due to grief, family concerns, or loneliness. The focus will be on the true meaning of Christmas and light shining in the darkness. Weather permitting, we may even walk the memorial garden decorated with ice luminaries. All are welcome!
